Over the years Neriah continued to be an active part of Chesnut Grove School and the local Community. She took dance classes in local primary schools as well as helping to run the after school lindy hop classes. Often the school dance studio was made available for Neriah and members of the JLH to train and rehearse. Excited students would sit and watch the rehearsals. Two other students Claude an Stewart followed her into the JLH, forming lifelong friendships. During this time other students gained the experience and expertise from Neriah's teaching that allowed them to also follow in her footsteps and join the JLH. Neriah joined Mr Brooks on many school journeys to Germany and to France making many friends with every visit.
