From the age of 17 until the very end, Neriah had a strong and immovable faith in God. She was very involved in her local church, Christian Life Fellowship and played an integral role in many aspects of church life with a particular passion for Sound Engineering and Media. Neriah had the ability to befriend many people from all walks of life and it was this spirit of hers which causes others around her to be at ease. Neriah didn't just carry the title of "Christian" she lived it, in the things she said and done. There may be some reading this and wondering 'Why the change of name?' well for a number of years Neriah had been thinking of changing her name from Delores (which meant sorrows) to a name she felt represented her and what she wanted to stand for hence "Neriah" which means 'Burning light of God'. In more ways than one Neriah exhibited this. Although her life on this Earth appeared short, Neriah achieved more than many will in their long lifetime. Neriah exuded enthusiasm that was infectious and was one of the most sincere people you will ever meet. Her life touched many; her talents will no doubt continue to inspire many more but it was her love, friendship and genuine character that will remain with us always.
