When she exploded onto the stage no one was safe and her exuberance and energy filled the auditorium lifting the spirits of everyone who witnessed her magic. She travelled extensively across the UK and worldwide teaching and performing. Some of her most notable performances include: Residency, Royal Festival Hall 'Out Of Doors Festival, New York, USA tour and Film Wondrous Oblivion. She was part of a team that achieved the Guinness World Record for most swing flips in one minute in London. She visited China on two occasions and the second of which was to attempt to break their own world record set the previous year. One of her favourite tours was the Christmas tours with the Ray Mcvay, Glen Miller Orchestra UK, which gave her an opportunity to concentrate on a few of her favourite dances. She was also a popular teacher at dance residencies such as Ilfracoombe, Swaffham and Rhythmic Dance Triangle. The London Lindy Hop Festivals and camps such as Bestival and Herrang Sweden. Janet recollects looking back, music and dance always being a feature of their lives. At home they would watch reruns of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers on telly. They were transfixed by the American musicals of the 30's right through to the 80's watching Gene Kelly's Choreographic genius all the way through to Michael Jackson's music videos. Janet and Neriah would spend weekends listening to the 'Fame' Soundtrack, play 'Salt n Pepa' music videos and makeup dance moves to the latest hits of Janet Jackson and Abba. At family gatherings they would dance with their cousins to 'Five Star' and 'Michael Jackson' in the hope of winning the coveted £1 dance prize which was awarded to the winner of the dance competition that the aunties and uncles would judge. It was at this time that Janet remembers Neriah's growing fascination of Michael Jackson and later the boyband '3T' (Michael Jacksons nephews) whom she would later develop a crush on.
